Enclosure Revised NRC Form 536 Operator Licensing Examination Data Tennessee Valley Authority Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 1 NRC Docket No. 50-390 E-1

Enclosure Revised NRC Form 536 Operator Licensing Examination Data The attached NRC 536 Form was revised to reflect changes in the projected operator licensing examination schedules and the estimated number of applicants needed to support anticipated operational requirements for fiscal years 2015,2016,2017 and 2018.

The reason for the change in the date and number of applicants for fiscal year 2015 from 17 to I was due to changes in the TVA Business Plan which reduced the number of candidates scheduled to take the initial license operator exams to 10. Of those 10 candidates 2 were subsequently removed for academic reasons.

The reason for the change in the number of applicants for fiscal year 2016 from 23 to 11 was due to only '11 external candidates accepting job offers.

The reason for the change in the date and number of applicants for fiscal year 2017 from none to 12 is due to TVA being 12 candidates short of meeting its goal for fiscal year 2016.

The reason for the change in the date and number of applicants for fiscal year 2018 from 23 to 18 is due to changes in the TVA Business Plan.

The reasons for the changes to the GFE schedule are as follows:

Month CY Comments September 2014 3 candidates need to take the PWR GFE December 2015 12 candidates added due to TVA being 12 candidates short of meeting its goal E-2
