McGuire Nuclear Station Lake Norman Environmental Monitoring Program: 2012 Summary Report Dear Ms Reid Enclosed are three copies of the annual Lake Norman Environmental Monitoring Program: 2012 Summary Report, as required by NPDES Permit NC0024392.

Results of the 2012 data were comparable with that of previous years. No obvious short-term or long-term impacts of station operations were observed in water quality, phytoplankton, zooplankton, and fish communities.

Additionally, 2012 station operation data demonstrates compliance with permit thermal limits and cool water management requirements.
