Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure Revision In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5) and 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section V, this submittal provides revisions to the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN) Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIPs). The attachment to this submittal provides a listing of each EPIP by title, the corresponding revision number and the date of effectiveness.
As noted on the attachment, the EPIP revisions have not been submitted within 30 days as specified by 10 CFR 50. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is investigating the cause of the internal processing error that led to the untimely submittal and has entered the condition into the corrective action program.
TVA has completed and retained analyses demonstrating that the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the emergency plan and the plan, as changed, continues to meet the requirements in 10 CFR 50 appendix E and the planning standards of
§ 50.47(b).
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b), copies of this submittal are being forwarded to the NRC Region IV Administrator and the resident inspector.
