Dear Sir or Madam:

Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) submitted Reference I to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) which provided the revised program plan for aging management of reactor vessel internals. ENO received a request for additional information (RAI) from the NRC in Reference 2. ENO provided a response to the RAI in Reference 3. ENO received a second RAI from the NRC in Reference 4. ENO and the NRC held a conference call, on January 2, 2014, to discuss the RAI, during which END requested an extension to the response schedule from within 30 days of receipt of Reference 4 to within 120 days of receipt of Reference 4. The extension is necessary to

PNP 201 4-004 Page 2 of 2 allow ENO time to retrieve supporting design data needed to provide a response that is consistent with industry guidance. The teleconference concluded with the NRC staff participants determining ENOs extension request was acceptable.

Therefore this letter confirms that ENOs response to the second RAI is extended to within 120 days from receipt of Reference 4.

This letter contains no new or revised commitments.
