Peach Bottom 2 and 3 response to Recommendation 2.3, Flooding Walkdown RAIs (TACs MF0261 & MF0262)
- Dave, On 12/23/13, the NRC issued an RAI to most plants, regarding Near-Term Task Force Recommendation 2.3, Flooding Walkdowns (ADAMS Accession No. ML13325A891). The RAI requested a response by 1/31/14.
Per your email to Blake Purnell on 12/24/13, you noted that on 11/22/13, Exelon stated that it could provide a response for Peach Bottom Units 2 and 3, by 2/28/14. My understanding is that the delay is needed due to a large numbers of below-grade seals that need to be addressed.
This e-mail documents the NRC staff agreement that Exelon will provide a response to the subject RAI for Peach Bottom, Units 2 and 3, by 2/28/14.
