MEETING WITH NUMARC ON PROCUREMENT On November 26, 1991, members of the Vendor Inspection Branch met with representatives of NUMARC and Southern California Edison to discuss the NRC's draft inspection procedure for procurement and commercial grade dedication. The staff presented an outline describing the proposed scope and general inspection requirements (Enclosure 1) of the draft procedure. The draft procedure will be used for a pilot inspection at San Onofre during the week of December 9-13, 1991.
The draft procedure will be revised based upon the results of the San Onofre and future pilot inspections.
The sites for future pilot inspections have not yet been determined.
