ANALYSIS OF INELASTIC BEAMS FOR SAN ONOFRE UNIT 1
SUMMARY
OF CONVERSATION:
The purpose of this discussion was to clarify aspects of SCE's proposal for treatment of inelastic beams. A draft of this proposal (attached) had been provided by the licensee to facilitate this call.
Questions discussed during this phone conversation are also attached. Most of the licensee's responses to the questions during the call seemed reasonable; further information will be provided by the licensee for question 6. Audit reviews of the calculations will be performed by the staff consultants in April. A revised version of Table 1 of the report and project instructions will be provided on April 7, 1986.
The final version of the beam analysis methodology report will be submitted on the docket.
