20555 Docket No. 50-206 Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 Moderator Temperature Coefficient for Cycle 7 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 Gentlemen:
In our letter of December 15, 1978, discussing the Cycle 7 Physics Startup Test, the Moderator Temperature Coefficient (MTC) (BOL, HZP, ARO) was incorrectly stated to be -0.75 pcm/oF. The correct value is -1.6 pcm/oF.
The difference between the corrected MTC and the predicted value of -1.2 pC/oF remains within the Review and Acceptance Criteria limit of +3 pcm/ppum.
