Letter from M. 0. Medford (SCE) to NRC, dated July 13, 1988, Schedule for Actions Resulting from the Systematic Evaluation Program (SEP)
The above referenced letter identified March 30, 1989, as the expected completion date for Systematic Evaluation Program (SEP) Topic III-1, Quality Group Classification of Components and Systems, as it relates to San Onofre Unit 1. The above date signifies completion of evaluation of the remaining open issues of SEP Topic III-1 and submittal of results to the NRC.
This letter is to inform you that a draft evaluation of the open issues of SEP Topic III-1 has been prepared, but a delay of one month is anticipated in completing the required in-house reviews of the draft and submitting the final results to the NRC.
This delay is a consequence of the involvement of technical personnel in previously unscheduled tasks and assignments associated with San Onofre Unit 1 restart.
The final results of the evaluation will be submitted to the NRC by April 30, 1989.
