Docket No. 50-206 Control Room Habitability Review NUREG-0737, Item III.D.3.4 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By letter dated May 31, 1988, the NRC provided SCE with questions regarding the October 10, 1986 Control Room Habitability submittal.
As indicated in SCE's letter dated September 9, 1988, -the responses to the questions would not be available prior to November 1, 1988. The information has been prepared and SCE internal review and approval is necessary. It is expected that this will be completed and a response provided to the NRC by April 17, 1989. Delay in preparation, review and approval of the responses to the NRC questions is due to the efforts on transshipment, the Nuclear Instrumentation System upgrade and the Return To Service technical specifications in support of the Cycle 10 refueling.
