Quality Assurance Program SCE-l-A Southern California Edison Company Submitted herewith for your approval in accordance with 10CFR50.54(a) is Change Notice No. 29 to'the Topical Report Quality Assurance Program SCE-l-A. Change Notice No. 29.reflects a reduction in commitments in that evaluation by SCE of nuclear utilities supplying safety related (non-ASME Section III) material and equipment are not required to be conducted provided the NRC has issued a construction permit or operating license. The NRC's review and acceptance of the nuclear utility's quality assurance program as a prerequisite to issuance of the construction permit or operating license and ongoing NRC inspections of the utility's quality assurance program implementation are deemed satisfactory for evaluation of the utility to supply material and equipment to SCE without an additional evaluation by SCE.
