Docket No. 50-206 Emergency Plan San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By your letter dated March 19, 1980 you provided the NRC's comments on our upgraded Emergency Plan.

It was requested that the Emergency Plan be revised to address these comments. The letter noted that the plan must be implemented by April 1, 1981 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(s)(2). This letter is to inform you that based on a preliminary review, the responses to the staff's comments will-not require substantial revision of the upgraded San Onofre Unit 1 Emergency Plan.

The revisions will be administrative and will not affect the content of the plan.

On April 1, 1981 the upgraded Emergency Plan was put into effect at Unit 1. Responses to the staff's comments and changes to the plan will be provided to you by April 30, 1981.
