Docket No. 50-206 Environmental Qualification Issue San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Westinghouse has recently informed us that use of information from their proprietary documents should be identified as proprietary.
We have determined that Westinghouse proprietary information has been documented in our environmental qualification submittals. It is requested that our submittals transmitted by the February 13, 1979, June 18, 1980 and October 31, 1980 letters be removed from the NRC's Public Document Room. Non-proprietary versions of these submittals will be prepared and transmitted to your office for inclusion in the Public Document Room. The non-proprietary submittals will not include that information considered proprietary to Westinghouse.
They will reference a Westinghouse affidavit verifying that the information deleted is proprietary.
It is also requested that the above identified submittals not be distributed outside the NRC.
Please notify those individuals outside of your organization that have already received copies of the submittals from the NRC that they contain proprietary information and are to be handled in such a manner.
