Docket No. 50-206 Additional Seismic Information San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 By letter dated April 28, 1980 we submitted information pertaining to the seismic adequacy of San Onofre Unit 1 during the time that the seismic reevaluation of the plant was being performed. In a telephone conversation with members of theNRC Staff on July 11, 1980, certain backup information for that submittal was requested. The purpose of this letter is to provide the requested information. is a report entitled "Reduction in Free Field Ground Motion Due to the Presence of Structures."

This report summarizes available data which relates to the differences in ground motion recorded in structures and ground motion recorded in the free field.

Enclosures 2, 3 and 4 are copies of the following reports which were referenced in the April 28, 1980 submittal:
