SUBJECT: MEETING REPORT
This refers to the meeting held between Southern California Edison Company
(SCE) and Region V personnel at the Region V office on December 3, 1992. The
purpose of the meeting was to discuss the San Onofre Nuclear Generating
Station Unit 1 permanent shutdown planning. Details of the meeting are
described in
the enclosed Meeting Report.
Overall we found the meeting to be beneficial. We recognize the efforts you
have taken to ensure that the Unit 1 permanent shutdown has been thoroughly
planned and coordinated. We encourage you to continue your efforts in these
areas.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosed
report will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
