NRC INSPECTION OF SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION UNITS
1, 2, AND 3
During the period of December 7 - 11, 1992, Mr. N. Mamish, accompanied by Mr.
J. Reese, of this office conducted a routine inspection of activities
authorized for your San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station. At the conclusion
of the inspection, Mr. Mamish and Mr. Reese discussed our findings with
members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of
procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, independent
measurements, and observations of activities in progress.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
The responses directed by this letter and the enclosed Notice are not subject
to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget as required
by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, Pub. L.96-511.
