AepL.o-v Unit 1 In the February 19, 1986 meeting with members of the NRC Staff, SCE was provided with a detailed listing of the NRC's information needs for their review of the November 21, 1985 event. The detailed listing is entitled "Actions to be Considered and Information to be Provided by SCE for SONGS Unit 1 Startup, Revision 7" dated February 19, 1986. It was agreed that SCE would provide an earlier response to five of these information requests. It was also agreed that SCE would transmit the balance of the information to the NRC in a comprehensive report of our evaluations of the event by March 28, 1986.
Accordingly, the earlier reply is provided in the enclosures discussed below:
- 1. provides an Action Item List of the current SCE actions being taken in response to the November 21, 1985 event. The scope of the list includes all evaluations and investigations being performed, hardware changes under consideration, and completion schedules for the actions.
This list is being submitted as Revision 1 to the preliminary action list provided to you on February 6, 1986.
- 2. Enclosure 2 provides a response to NRC Region V Question No. 17 in the February 19, 1986 list.
- 3. provides a response to NRC NRR PWR-A Licensing Division Question No. 6 in the February 19, 1986 list.
