Docket No. 50-206 SEP Topic 111-6, Seismic Design Considerations Long Term Service Seismic Reevaluation San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 The criteria and methodology for San Onofre Unit 1 Long Term Service Seismic Reevaluation program has been discussed with the NRC staff in several meetings during the past few months.
Based upon these meetings, an overall seismic qualification approach is being developed for San Onofre 1 Long Term Service Program. The purpose of this letter is to forward the proposed piping strain criteria and stress-strain correlation methodology for piping qualification at San Onofre 1 under the Long Term Service Seismic Reevaluation Program. Accordingly, 3 copies of Impell Corporation report 01-0310-1459, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Long Term Service Seismic Reevaluation Program Technical Basis for Stress-Strain Correlation dated October 7, 1985 are enclosed.
