4 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By letter dated November 3, 1981, we indicated that the se C1 reevaluation of cable trays at San Onofre Unit 1 would be completed by March 1, 1982. As our evaluation program has proceeded since that time, this schedule has been affected by the analysis requirements and by access limitations during plant operation.
In light of these considerations, the schedule for these evaluations has been delayed as previously discussed with the NRC Staff.
We anticipate completion of the evaluation of cable trays in all normally accessible areas by April 12, 1982. For cable trays which are in areas where access was limited during normal operation, namely, the containment and switchgear rooms, we anticipate completion of the evaluation by May 1, 1982. In view of these schedules for completion of the evaluations, we currently anticipate submittal of a report discussing all of these evaluations by about May 15, 1982.
