Docket No. 50-206 Environmental Qualification of Safety-Related Electrical Equipment San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 This letter confirms telephone discussions with representatives of the Regulatory staff regarding a delayed response to the staff's Safety Evaluation Report (SER) regarding the subject issue. Your June 2, 1981 letter which forwarded the SER requested that we provide a response within 90 days addressing the deficiencies identified in the SER by the staff. We have been preparing a response to these deficiencies. However, based on the information obtained to date, additional time is required to complete our response to the specific deficiencies.
It is expected that our response will be provided to you by October 5, 1981.
