Dietch (SCE), September 21, 1982, SEP Topic III-7.B In response to References 1 and 2, provided herewith as Enclosure 1 and Enclosure 2 are comments relating to SEP Topic III Quality Group Classification of Components and Systems SEP Topic III-7.8 - Design Codes, Design Criteria and Load Combinations respectively. In addition to Enclosures 1 and 2, marked up pages of the draft safety evaluation are included to clarify the comments, as well as provide some additional editorial corrections.
The present input is limited to comments on the factual content of the above SEP Topics. We are continuing our review and anticipate that any additional information for inclusion in the evaluation will be provided during the Integrated Assessment.
