Docket No. 50-206 Overpressure Mitigation System San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By letter dated October 28, 1982 SCE received the NRC staff's evaluation of the overpressure mitigation system. It was indicated in that letter that in addition to the Technical Specifications proposed by SCE in Proposed Change No. 71 (transmitted by letter dated October 20, 1980) two additional specifications should be incorporated.
We are currently evaluating the specifications discussed in your letter. It is expected that a Technical Specification on channel functional testing of the OMS will be incorporated while one on starting a reactor coolant pump requires further analysis.
A schedule for submittal of any necessary Technical Specifications and/or justification for only one additional Technical Specification will be forwarded by February 4, 1983.
