Docket No. 50-206 Unresolved Safety Issues Status San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Your July 6, 1982 letter requested information on the status of nineteen unresolved safety issues. You stated that this information was'to be furnished within 60 days of July 6, 1982.
The purpose of this letter is to advise you that we require until October 15, 1982 to provide you with the status of unresolved safety issues at San Onofre Unit No. 1. The additional time is required because of the extensive and time-consuming research necessary to provide an accurate and complete response to each of the nineteen specified unresolved safety issues.
