APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Southern California Edison Company Docket Nos. 50-206, 50-361 P. 0. Box 800 and 50-362 2244 Walnut Grove Avenue License Nos. DPR-13, NPF-10 Rosemead, California 91770 and NPF-15 As a result of the inspection conducted during the period March 8-11, 1988, and in accordance with NRC Enforcement Policy, 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C, the following violation was identified:
10 CFR 50.54(t) states in part, "the licensee shall provide for a review of its emergency preparedness program at least every 12 months by persons who have no direct responsibility for implementation of the emergency preparedness program".
Contrary to this requirement, as of March 11, 1988, an independent audit of the emergency preparedness program had not been performed since December 1, 1986.
No response to this violation is required in view of the corrective action initiated and documented in inspection report Nos. 50-206/88-07, 50-361/88-07, and 50-362/88-07.
This is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement VIII).
