Dear Sir:
I. E. BULLETIN No. 79-27 CONFIRMATORY ORDER On April 4, 1980 we received a confirmatory order requiring submittal of the following information:
(1) Submit to the Director of Reactor Operations Inspection, Washington, D.C.
20555 and to the Director of the NRC Regional Office V, written statements under oath containing the information required in Atachment A to the Order, and (2) Submit the statements on or before May 15, 1980.
On May 15, 1980 we submitted our written response to this Order. This response completely addressed items 1 and 3 of Attachment A. However, item 2 of Attachment A requires a description of changes to emergency procedures that have been prepared to conform to items 2a, 2b, and 2c of Attachment A.
On May 15, 1980 these changes had not been completed.
Accordingly, we request an extension of May 15, 1980 deadline in your Confirmatory Order to no later than 1 (one) week prior to returning the unit to service, tentatively scheduled for June 15, 1980. By that time we will provide you in writing with the information required in item 2 of Attachment A.
