GENERAL NOTES

1.

All pipe, valves, flanges, fittings and other parts to conform to latest ANSI standards and meet the requirements of the codes.for Pressure Piping, ANSI B31.1 except as covered in Note No. 2.

2. Piping between the Steam Generator discharge nozzles and turbine stop valves and between the Steam Generator feedwater line from level controllers to the Steam Generator inlet connections, are to conform with the latest edition of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section I. This excludes the safety-valve on the steam line which shall conform to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section VIII. All hydrazine piping associated with hydrazine tank D-200 to conform to ASME Section III, Code Class,2, except as otherwise noted.
3. Hydrostatic Test shall be conducted according to latest edition of the Code for Pressure Piping, ANSI B31.1, except as otherwise noted.
4. Pipe wall thickness and material specification shall conform to line designation sheets for line indicated.
5. All pipe bends to be 5 dia. radius unless otherwise noted.
6. Valves, 6 in. and larger, in lines operating above 250# pressure shall be provided with by-passes at least 3/4 in. nominal size and not less than Sched.
