SUBJECT:
SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3, EMERGENCY PLAN, REVISION 6.2 We have reviewed your letter dated September 6, 1995, and the enclosed changes to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 1, 2. and 3, which transmitted Revision 6.2 to the Emergency Plan. This revision was submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(q) and incorporated the following change:
Publication of emergency planning public information in the emergency planning zone and the information provided annually in the emergency planning zone area local telephone directory. This also refers to discussions of the change between Mr. A. McQueen of Region IV, and Mr' K. Bellis and Ms. P. Handley of the San Onofre Plant staff on October 10 and 12. 1995.
We have been informed by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation that discussions are in progress with the Federal Emergency Management Agency regarding publication of emergency planning information in the emergency planning zone. We plan to delay completion of our review of your emergency.
