- 2) Letter, J. G. Haynes (SCE) to J. B. Martin (NRC),
dated March 22, 1984, Special Report, Unit 1 The referenced letters provided our Special Reports concerning the inoperability of certain fire detection instrumentation at San Onofre, Unit 1. This letter provides an update of the status of the smoke and fire detectors.
With the exception of Zones 8 and 16, the Unit 1 Fire Detection System was returned to service on December 19, 1983.
