Baskin, SCE, NUREG-0737, Item II.D.1 - Performance Testing of Relief and Safety Valves, December 19, 1983 The referenced letter indicated that you have reviewed our December 2, 1982 and July 13, 1983 submittals relative to the subject TMI Action Plan Item, and based upon that review you requested additional information in an enclosure to the referenced letter. You also requested our response within 60 days of the receipt of the referenced letter.
Based upon our review of the requested information and discussions with the individuals responsible for preparing the information for our response, we have determined that additional time is required. As you may know, San Onofre Unit 1 has been out of service since February, 1982. We are presently involved in extensive efforts with the NRC in order to return to service and the individuals responsible for preparing the requested information are committed to these efforts.
