Docket No. 50-206 Vertical Ground :Motion SEP Topic 111-6 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 On December 14, 1983, SCE met with the NRC Staff to discuss the appropriate vertical ground motion for use in SCE's seismic reevaluation of San Onofre Unit 1. Provided as an Enclosure to this letter is a report which documents the information presented by SCE during that meeting. As indicated in this report, it is concluded that vertical response spectra equal to two-thirds of the horizontal response spectra are appropriate for the San Onofre site.
