50-206 SEP Topic II-4.F San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 Provided as Enclosure 1 is Addendum 2 to the backfill soil conditions report which was submitted by letters dated April 18 and September 1, 1983. Addendum 2 includes the evaluation of the effect of in situ backfill soil conditions on the Ventilation Equipment Building and Motor Control Center No. 3. Modifications identified in Enclosure 1 will be implemented as part of the "Plan for Managing Plant Retrofit" and the "Plan for Early Return to Power" in accordance with our letter from Robert Dietch to H. R. Denton dated June 10, 1983.
Provided as Enclosure 2 is a report which documents concrete crack mapping in the 480V Room and Ventilation Equipment Building and discusses settlement measurements at the site.
These evaluations were performed at the request of the NRC staff.
