Docket No. 50-206 Containment Leakage Testing San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By letter dated December 3, 1975, we provided Amendment No. 52, Proposed Change No. 43 to the Technical,-Specifications. This proposed change deals with containment leakage testing and reflects the requirements of Appendix J to 10 CFR 50.
Subsequent to this submittal, certain exemption requests to Appendix J were submitted by letter dated April 21, 1976. By letter dated August 3, 1982, you denied these-exemption requests and requested that we resubmit proposed Technical Specifications that include the pertinent requirements of Appendix J within sixty days after receipt of your August 3, 1982 letter.
The purpose of this letter is to advise you that we require additional time to provide the requested proposed Technical Specifications.
We expect to submit the proposed Technical Specifications by November 30, 1982.
