Docket No. 50-206 Amendment No. 103 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 We applied for Amendment No. 103 in our letter dated January 5, 1982. Amendment No. 103 consists of Proposed Change No. 108 to the Technical Specifications incorporated into our operating license as appendices A and B.
We determined Amendment No. 103 involved a change to a non-radiological limiting condition for operation, and therefore, no licensing fee was required based on your letter dated October 22, 1981 exempting such applications from the 10 CFR 170.22 Class III application fee.
We were notified by your letter dated July 1, 1982, that Amendment No. 103 is not exempt from the Class III application fee since the review will involve consideration of a single environmental issue and does not involve the deletion of a non-radiological aquatic limiting condition for operation or a monitoring requirement. Consequently, we were asked to remit to you the sum of $4,000.00. Accordingly, enclosed is Southern California Edison Company's check No. A-979036, dated July 26, 1982, in the amount of $4,000.00.
