50-206 Amendment No. 102 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 At the time of submittal of the subject amendment, it was considered that because the amendment was requested by the NRC to clarify the Technical Specifications by conforming them to the Standard Technical Specifications for the convenience of the NRC, the amendment submittal would be exempt from imposition of fees.
By letter dated February 22, 1982, the NRC staff indicated that there was a Class III fee to be submitted for the amendment since the Technical Specification change involved consideration of a single safety issue and was a piece-meal change to Standard Technical Specifications rather than a one-time, total conversion.
Therefore, as requested by the NRC's February 22 letter, a Class III fee is submitted for activities related to the subject amendment.
Enclosed is Southern California Edison Company check number A935270, dated March 30, 1982, in the amount of $4,000.
