Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station
-Units 2&3 Enclosed are sixty-three copies of Amendment No. 31 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3. This amendment contains miscellaneous corrections, clarifications, and additions to the FSAR information.
Also enclosed are forty copies of Amendment No. 13 to the "Fire Hazards Analysis (FHA) and Comparison with Appendix A of NRC Branch Technical Position 9.5-1, October, 1977."
Amendment No. 13 consists of clarifications and additions to the FHA.
Also enclosed are ten copies of the revised Emergency Plan for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3. The revised Emergency Plan combines the previous plans for Unit 1 and Units 2 and 3 at San Onofre.
As such, the revised Emergency Plan replaces in its entirety the previous (onsite) Emergency Plan for San Onofre, Units 2 and 3. Three copies of the revised Emergency Plan are also being sent to Mr. Engelken, Regional Administrator, NRC Region V.
Direct distribution of Amendment No. 31 to the FSAR, Amendment No. 13 to the FHA, and the revised Emergency Plan will be made in accordance with the service list provided by SCE's letter of August 2, 1982 to the Commission. An affidavit attesting to the fact that distribution has been completed will be provided within ten days of amendment docketing.
