IMPLEMENTATION DATE EXTENSION FOR UNIT 2 AND 3 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION AMENDMENTS On February 28, 1992, the NRC issued amendments to the San Onofre Unit 2 and Unit 3 Technical Specifications. The amendments were in response to your request dated August 30, 1991.
The amendments were designated Amendment No.
101 for Unit 2 and Amendment No. 90 for Unit 3. Our forwarding letter specified that the amendments must be fully implemented no later than 30 days from the date of issuance. In this case the implementation date would be no later than March 29, 1992.
Although issued on February 28, 1992, mishandling at the NRC delayed the mailing of the two amendments to March 24, 1992. In view of the delayed mailing, this letter authorizes the licensee to delay the implementation date of the two amendments to no later than April 18, 1992.
