FEMA FINAL REPORT FOR THE NOVEMBER 20, 1991, INGESTION PATHWAY EXERCISE By letter dated May 28, 1992, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) informed the NRC of the results of their observations of the offsite activities during the November 20, 1991, ingestion pathway exercise at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. The letter states that no deficiencies were observed during the exercise; however, 9 Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCAs) were identified. Copies of the FEMA letter and report are enclosed.
We request that you coordinate with the offsite officials to ensure corrective actions are being taken to resolve the ARCAs before the next biennial exercise.
