MEB Confirmatory Piping Analysis for San Onofre (2 & 3)
It is our understanding that the NRC will be conducting a confirma tory analysis of a San Onofre Units 2 and 3 shutdown cooling line which is to be part of an overall evaluation of components and supports required for shut down of the plant and continued shutdown heat removal.
In order to perform this confirmatory piping analysis, the NRC staff requested, during a telephone conversation on January 17, 1980, that the information specified in the above reference be provided by SCE. Accordingly, enclosed for your use are seven (7) copies of the requested information.
It is also our understanding that ETEC will evaluate the enclosed information, as a consultant to the NRC, to determine if additional information or clarification is required. If there are any questions, please contact Mr. T. D. Mercurio (213-572-2645).
