Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 The NRC's letter of December 21, 1979 forwarded requests for additional information in several review areas including geosciences.
Enclosed are sixty-three copies of the responses to these Geosciences Branch Questions (361.37 through 361.62).
The response to questions in the remaining review areas as well as these geosciences responses will be incorporated in Amendment Number 18 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).
Due to the volume of the references requested in NRC Questions 361.42 and 361.61 only seven copies of these references are provided.
FSAR Section 1.8 will be revised in Amendment 18 to reflect this seven-copy information; however, no additional copies of the references will be provided with Amendment 18.
Direct distribution of these responses will be made in accordance with the service list provided by SCE's letter of October 29, 1979 to the Commission. An affidavit attesting to the fact that distribution has been completed will be provided within ten days of docketing.
