SUBJECT:

Offsite Medical Services Capabilities for State and local governments Site-Specific to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station The offsite medical services capabilities of the State of California and the local jurisdictions have been reviewed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency pursuant to the requirements of Guidance Memorandum MS-1, Medical Services. With the exception of one item, all requirements have been satisfied. The.exceptiqn involves the annotation of the hospital list to indicate ambulatory/non-ambulatory capabilities.

The most recent medical drill was conducted on June 10, 1987. The offsite medical facility tested was the San Clemente General Hospital with ambulance service provided by City of San Clemente Paramedics. The drill findings were discussed at a formal critique for the participants, whose performance was rated exemplary.
