Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc. (DEK) submitted a license amendment request (EAR) to revise its License and Technical Specifications to reflect Kewaunee Power Station's (KPS's) permanently defueled condition on May 29, 2013. On September 23, 2013, DEK received a request for additional information (RAI) regarding the LAR. The RAI response is provided in the attachment to this letter. Based on discussion with Karl Feintuch of the NRC, this RAI will be submitted to the NRC by November 6, 2013.
The attachment contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.22 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
