ISSUANCE OF FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL STATMENT (SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 I am forwarding for your information the Final Environmental Statement for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3. The Statement was prepared by my staff in accordance with the statement of general policy and procedure on implementation of the National Environmental P1licy Act of 1969, as set forth in the Commission's regulations in 10 CFR Part 51. The Statement has today been sent to the Environmental Protection Agency and notice of its availability is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
