C. 20555 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NOS. 50-361 AND 50-362 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, ET AL NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF A SUPPLEMENT TO THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT FOR SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission's regulations in 10 CFR Part 51, notice is hereby given that a Supplement to the Draft Environmental Statement (NUREG-0490) has been prepared b, the Commission's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. The DES Supplement reldtes to accident considerations relative to the proposed operation of the san Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3, in San Diego County. California. Copies are available for inspection by the public in the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. and in the Mission Viejo Branch Library, 24851 Chrisanta Drive, Mission Viejo, California. The Supplement to the Draft Statement is also being made available at the Office of the Governor, Office of Planning and Research, 1400 Tenth Street, Sacramento, California, and at the San Diego County Com prehensive Planning Organization, Security Pacific Plaza, 1200 Third Avenue, San Diego, California. Requests for copies of the Draft Environmental Statement should be addressed to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, D.C., Attention:

Notice of availability of the Applicant's Environmental Report was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on April 7, 1977 (42 F. R. 18460).
Pursuant to 10 CFR Part 51, interested persons. may submit comments.
on the Supplement to the Draft Environmental Statement for the Commission's consideration. Federal and State agencies have been provided with copies of the Applicants' Environmental Report and are being provided with the Supplement to the Draft Environmental.Statement (local agencies may obtain these documents upon request). Comments are due by March. 9, 1981.
Comments by Federal, State, and local officials, or nther persons received by the Commission will be made available for public inspection at the Commission's Public Document Room in Washilngton, DC,, and the Mission Viejo Branch Library, 24851 Chrisanta Drive, Missi.on Viejo, California, Upon consideration of comments previously submiitted with respect to the Draft Environmental Statement, and at this time with.respect to the Supplement to the Draft Environmental Statement, the Commission's staff will prepare a Final Environmental Statement, the availability of which will be published in the FEDERAL REGISTER.
