San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 1, 2 and 3 The purpose of this letter is to transmit the latest revision of the State of California Nuclear Power Plant Emergency Response Plan dated January 29, 1988 to the NRC. This plan was prepared by the State of California and provides a complete explanation of the functions and responsibilities of local, state and federal governments, and nongovernmental organizations which have agreed to assist in the event of an emergency at a nuclear power plant.
This latest revision replaces in its entirety the State of California Nuclear Power Plant Emergency Response Plan dated July 1975 (Revised April 1983). If you have any questions, please contact me.
