VERIFICATION LETTER OF THE APPROVAL VERSION OF BOILING WATER REACTOR OWNERS' GROUP TOPICAL REPORT BWROG-TP-11-022-A, REVISION 1, "PRESSURE-TEMPERATURE LIMITS REPORT METHODOLOGY FOR BOILING WATER REACTORS" (TAC ME7649)
Dear Ms. Hill:
By letter dated September 4, 2013 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML13277A557), the Boiling Water Reactor Owners' Group (BWROG) submitted an approval (-A) version of Topical Report (TR) BWROG-TP-11-022-A, Revision 1, "Pressure-Temperature Limits Report Methodology for Boiling Water Reactors," to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. The BWROG has done so in accordance with our request to publish an approval version of this TR, as detailed in the transmittal letter of the NRC staffs final safety evaluation (SE) (ADAMS Package Accession No. ML13108A341) of the original TR.
The NRC staff has completed its review of the approval version of the TR. The NRC staff verified that BWROG has met the requirements and determined that the submitted -A version is acceptable for referencing in licensing applications for nuclear power plants to the extent specified and under the limitations delineated in the accepted version of the TR. TR BWROG-TP-11-022-A, Revision 1, "Pressure-Temperature Limits Report Methodology for Boiling Water Reactors, is now approved for use in future licensing actions as specified in the final SE.
