Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54, enclosed are ten (10) copies of the Emergency Plan for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3. Three (3) copies of these plans are being forwarded to the Director of NRC Region V.
The Emergency Plan incorporates revisions in response to questions in the NRC letter of November 7, 1980, as previously responded to in our letters of November 26, 1980, December 5, 1980, January 9, 1981, April 20, 1981, and May 15, 1981. It further incorporates revisions which reflect our evaluation of the effects earthquakes would have on the emergency response capability as requested in NRC letters of December 17, 1980 and May 18, 1981.
The four items to be considered in the evaluation of the effect of earthquakes on the SONGS 2&3 Emergency Plan, as identified in the May 18, 1981 letter are addressed in the Emergency Plan in at least the following specific locations:
