Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 Enclosed are sixty-three copies of Amendment No. 17
/to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) for the San Onofre
/Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3, Operating License Applications.
This amendment contains responses to several "open items", responses to an October 31, 1979 request for additional information concerning Emergency Planning at the
/ V San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station and also provides
,information to satisfy several of the commitments made in the FSAR in Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362.
In addition, Amendment No. 17 contains miscellaneous corrections, clarifications and additions to FSAR information.
In order to facilitate your review of this amendment, Enclosure 1 identifies revisions of the FSAR which are non-question-related.
,--> Also enclosed are forty copies of Amendment No. 2 to the "Fire Hazards Analysis and Comparison with Appendix A* of NRC Branch Technical Position 9.5-1, October, 1977".
Amendment No. 2 to the Fire Hazards Analysis consists of changes in response to the questions forwarded by the NRC's letter of October 29, 1979 and changes that amplify, update or clarify the discussion.
Direct distribution of Amendment No. 17 to the FSAR will be made in accordance with the service list provided by SCE's letter of October 29, 1979 to the Commission.
