In accordance with Section IV.3 of NRC Order EA-13-092 (Reference a), this letter provides notification that a sufficient number of personnel have successfully completed the requisite firearms background check such that the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station (NMPNS), Unit I and Unit 2, security organization can be staffed in accordance with NMPNS' NRC-approved security plan, and that the NMPNS site protective strategy and procedures can be effectively implemented while meeting applicable fatigue requirements in 10 CFR Part 26, "Fitness for Duty Programs."
