CLOSURE OF INVESTIGATION (014-2012-029)
Dear Mr. Dietrich:
This refers to an investigation conducted by the NRC's Office of Investigations regarding activities at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. The Office of Investigations initiated the investigation to determine whether a Program Manager employed by the Southern California Edison Company, assigned to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, was subject to employment discrimination for expressing safety concerns about safety conscious work environment issues.
Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, testimony, and document reviews, the alleged discrimination was determined to be not substantiated. The NRC plans no further action related to the discrimination aspect of this allegation and considers this investigation closed.
