Division of Operating Reactor Licensing Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation FORTHCOMING PRE-APPLICATION MEETING WITH DUKE ENERGY CAROLINAS, LLC, MCGUIRE, UNITS 1 AND 2 Wednesday, August 7, 2013 1 :00 p.m. *3:00 p.m. EST U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 0-6B2 Rockville, Maryland This pre-application meeting is to discuss with the licensee its proposed license amendment request to Technical Specification 3.8.4 Condition A to allow replacement of the existing shared 125 VDC vital batteries while at power.
This is a Category 1 meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
